it's in the mid-70s. some big numbers pop out. 81 in fairfax. plenty of hot and humid air. this air mass is being controlled by a large area of the tropical high pressure area in the atlantic and it's keeping us locked in, straight through saturday. temperatures approaching 90 each day. and it's going to take the weekend when the cold front arrives from the west. we will see the beginning of that taking place,nd we're kind of stuck with this weather for a while longer. so the hazy, humid weather, and after 2:00 and 3:00 in the afternoon is your best chance for storms. on thursday and friday the cold front will be inching eastward. we will be watching bill, which will by tomorrow probably become a category 4 hurricane. the only question is whether the
